Sometimes called Marketing 102. Usually held on Saturdays, roughly every other month.
Interested in developing a practical and effective marketing plan? This workshop discusses traditional marketing issues; defining your target market and position, price, delivering, and promoting your product or service. The workshop works through an example of a “Nanny Service,” but uses breakouts to have you discuss topics as they apply to your specific business idea.
We use SCORE counselors as instructors. Our workshops provide an opportunity for people to meet others trying to improve their marketing in a small business.
SCORE is a national non-profit organization interested in helping small business start-ups and established business owners. We offer free face to face counseling on a wide range of business questions.
When: Selected Saturdays during 2007. Call for next scheduled date beyond this one.
Time/Location: 9:00 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. At the Austin SCORE offices, 3809 South Second Street, Bldg C, Suite 300.
Cost: - $30 – cash or check at the door. $15 for your other business associates that come with you. Counseling at SCORE is free, but we use these workshops to raise operating funds.
